He had decent insurance (MetLife) which we were able to bill a portion of it due to medical necessity (it was difficult for him to eat). And the rest was financed out at $250/month over a 72 month period with 3% interest after he worked with our treatment coordinator to secure that rate.
He initially wanted to do a HELOC (borrow money against the equity of his house that he owned free and clear), but we were actually able to find him a financing match, which was way faster and convenient for him.
